| Responsibilities: | ||
| To manage together with a team of Purchasing and expert on behalf of the Global Commodity Teams our Chinese business. Ensure the best class supplier base in China/Asia. Ensure implementation of agreed Commodity Strategies and commercial decisions and the relevant tactics to achieve them. Act for Group Purchasing with assigned suppliers on behalf of the Commodity Team Leaders and supports critical negotiations and contract setting. Ensure that supplier approvals and development activities of Chinese suppliers including corrective actions are implemented. Drive and/or support implementation of cost reduction projects like volume aggregation, transfer of products, item/design standardization. To manage the local purchasing activities in line with the Group Purchasing organization. |

| Requirements: | ||
| University Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent degree. Good management experience in areas like Purchasing, Business Development, Sales and Manufacturing, preferably international scope (experience in an American or European Automotive/Automotive supplier company is a plus). Excellent negotiating skills and commercial experience. Very good experience with local markets and supplier bases in China. (Asia would be a plus). |
