Position Summary : | ||
A Business Scientist influences peers by an exemplary scientific standard with proven results-driven output, and extends their sphere of influence beyond the immediate workgroup to the SBU and further to the Division by contributing as a resource for scientific advise and through the development of market / technology roadmaps. Gains external recognition as a technical authority within an industry or discipline through participation on industrial or academic panels to influence industry direction and periodic delivery of presentations at national and international technical conferences. |

Requirements: | ||
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or Polymer Science, 10 ~ 15 years of relevant experience. or Masters Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or Polymer Science, 9 ~ 12 years of relevant experience. or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or Polymer Science, 6 ~ 9 relevant years experience. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to work hands-on in a lab as well as in packaging development line. Ability to set direction for future polymers for applications including semiconductor packaging and processing. Ability to effectively work in a multi-discipline, multi-organizational self-directed team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, to include the ability to present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community Ability to write articles for publication that conform to a prescribed style and format. Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Following experience preferred: Characterization and testing equipment in the areas of polymer and composite materials, such as DSC, TMA, TGA, and DMTA. Chemical characterization and analytical instruments, such as FTIR, UV-vis, NMR, GC-mass-spectrometry, XPS, and SMIS. |
